An update from Heartland Tank Services, Inc.’s President Salvador Villagran:

On behalf of everyone at Heartland Tank Services, Inc., we hope this message finds you well.

As Heartland Tank Services, Inc.’s President, I am personally reaching out to address a recent issue concerning several news articles, but specifically one published by USA Today. The article, which was published on September 10, 2024, incorrectly named our company in connection with a tragic incident involving the death of two workers from inhalation of toxic gases who were trapped in an 80-foot farm silo in eastern South Dakota. The report suggested that our company was responsible for this unfortunate event; Heartland Tank Services, Inc. was absolutely not involved. USA Today has since corrected the article.

Nonetheless, it is important for us to set the record straight to our most valuable asset, our clients. We want to express our deepest gratitude to those who extended their condolences following the publication of this article.

We understand that such news can be concerning, and we want to reassure you that our company continues to adhere to the highest standards of safety and quality in our field. Your trust is of utmost importance to us, and we are committed to maintaining transparency and integrity in all aspects of our business.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.

Sincerely,

Salvador Villagran
President, Heartland Tank Services, Inc.
